A spectacular public ‘Fiery Food’ event offering food and drink lovers a feast of colour and culinary delights at Brighton Marina, will launch the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival 2006 on the evening of 1 September.


Chilli will be the star of the show, including giant visual projections onto the cliffs, flame throwers and other dramatic performance arts displays on a floating stage, alongside a three-day spicy food and drink market.


The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival celebrates the best of food and drink in Sussex and is growing from strength to strength in the ‘city of festivals’ annual line up. Now in its fourth year and, following a huge success in 2005, directors promise that 2006 will be better than ever, with food and drink producers and local restaurants and bars at its heart.
