This is a neat website, something I'll definitely consider using in the future. It's an online database of plumbers, electricians, builders, brickies - all the handymen you'll even need! You can search by postcode, there's an eBay-like feedback system and the whole thing feels very reputable. If you decide you want to go ahead, you post a job and pick a few tradesmen who then get a text and email alerting them to your request, and the quotes start to come in.

One for the future, I think.
