Kevin McCloud has often demonstrated, encouraged and explained the use of green / sustainable building techniques and materials on the Grand Designs program, and I'm impressed to see just how much "green" influence there is on the show.

They have the "Going Green Trail" to help locate companies offering products that will help you strive to be greener; many of the seminars and debates have a strong green theme, including subjects such as "Does Eco have to be ugly?" and "Busting Green Myths". I'm impressed and have to say that it demonstrates how becoming greener is becoming a lot more mainstream. I just hope it's not just a "phase" that many are going through.
