This is a good read - an article detaling the use and rise of solar panels on houese in California. To be honest, I'm beginning to expect this of California now, there seems to be a steady trickle of hi- and lo-tech solutions to a number of green issues around at the moment, but it's still very encouraging news. If only more of the extensive building works taking place in the South East of England had this attitude towards sustainability, we'd be able to brag a bit in the UK, too.
