A great place from two perspectives - one musically, and the other for the building itself.
If you've seen pictures of it during construction, or since opening, you'll realise why it's been pretty controversial, but if you go into the building. Well, you'll be really impressed.... it's all curves to reflect the river and vast open spaces. It still smells like a new building although it's been open for 18 months.
Check out hte site for the listings ... they've all sorts on from chamber music to big gigs. Something to suite just about any one.

Just been checking out the listings.... they've a brilliant selection for anyone who's vaguely folk / country orientated. A good 5 or 6 gigs worth seeing in just June... if only I lived up there (probably a good job!)
