Arriving on Dec 2nd at 16:00, Father Christmas will be at the Tree House in Alnwick Castle gardens complete with a Lantern Parade. The setting is really impressive, so it's worth a visit.
He'll be there very day from then until the 24th. From their site:
"A magical meeting with Father Christmas
Come along and meet Father Christmas in his grotto, decorated with seasonal displays and wonderfully lit. Meeting Father Christmas will be a heart-warming Christmas experience and there’s a small gift for everyone.
10am - 4pm. £5 per person after paying admission (suitable for adults and children), and tickets are available on the day"
There are a number of other festive events taking place at the Gardens including the joining of 20000 voices for a series of great Christmas Concerts (9th - 11th) where all of the traditional carols will be performed.
