Andrew and his team did some work for us on the last house and they did a great job of it. They will use materials that are sympathetic to the building (for instance they'll use traditional lime plaster rather than conptemporary materials if you want to go that route) they'll also recycle materials (the bricks used to block up a doorway were predominantly reclaimed from an internal wall that was taken down) and use "green" materials if that is what you believe in.
Andrew's team we also flexible in terms of what we did and what they did within the work rather than having to do all of the work themselves, so they were quite happy for us to bring in our own electrician and plumber.
I'd definitely use them again (although they are based in East Kent, so it would have to be a big job for them to trave l to us in Dartford again)
