Moving home? Then you should consider a Hippobag. They're cheaper than a skip when it comes to getting rid of stuff you aren't going to take with you, and around 80% of your waste ends up being recycled. On top of that, they're delivered flat-pack.
This makes me think we need a check list of 'ecolocals' guide to moving house'...

Great initiative. Does someone come around to pick up the full bag?

Yes, once it's full, you ring and arrange for collection.

My friend told me about this service a couple of weeks ago. I gave it a go last week and was very impressed. I bought the bag from B&Q and filled it within 2 days. I phoned to book the collection and it was collected within 2 days. Superb service!!!

Now that is the best reference of all - someone who's used the service. Thanks Gaynor. Jane

I've just trialled the Hippobag after a recommendation from a friend. He told me that if I book the bag in for collection and quote the code BBQ07 I could be in with a chance of winning a summer bumper pack of goodies including an Anthony Worrell Thompson barbeque. Aparently the more bags you book the more chance you have of winning. Although I couldn't fill much over the weekend, I will be getting rid of loads of garden rubbish this week as the comp ends on Thursday 31st May. The bags are a great concept - I'll definitely be using more of these in the future!
