House Recycling (www.houserecycling.co.uk) provides a practical and stylish way to end the constant trips to the outdoor recycling bin, the hassle of separating recyclable kitchen waste from the rubbish and the unsightly and potentially unhygienic storage of kitchen waste this Christmas with its wide range of kitchen recycling bins from top manufacturers such as Brabantia, Simplehuman and Halio.
The House Recycling kitchen compartment bin range provides a clean and easy way to separate kitchen waste for recycling, offering a recycling bin for every space and budget, ranging from Twin compartments bins such as the Brabantia Recycling bin, and a 60 litre Duo, to Triple bins such as the 3x11 litre and 3x20 litre bins, as well bins that can be built into a kitchen cupboard when kitchen space is limited.
House Recycling’s range of recycling bins offer a convenient ‘one stop’ bin for all kitchen recycling needs with the added hygienic benefits of inner compartments that are removable for easy emptying and cleaning.
House Recycling backs its commitment to making recycling easier by offering a product range with prices to suit every budget; with bins starting at £27.00 for budget minded green shoppers through to £83.00 and £94 for the top of the range models.
Ian Alderson, House Recycling’s Managing Director, stated “We aim to make recycling easier for everyone, whether they are living in a studio flat or a six bedroom house. We know that Christmas generates huge amounts of extra kitchen waste and that people are more likely to recycle it if they have access to easy to use and clean bins. The fact that our range is also stylish and contemporary adds to its appeal, ensuring that many will be found under the tree as a present ahead of starting many years recycling duties in the kitchen.”

Welcome on board Greenman - i have to agree with you here, the amount of waste that people generate at Christmas is appalling. So much of it can be recycled if people will take the time and effort to do it. It also means that their food waste does not end up overflowing from their standard rubbish bin because it's got so much packaging in there (wrapping paper and boxes etc.... never ending at Christmas)
When you walk around during the aftermath of Christmas (I think that from a waste perspective, aftermath is appropriate) it's disgraceful. Bins are overflowing everywhere with things that can and cannot be recycled. Anything to make it easier to recycle at this time of year is a great idea.
But, people also need to think before creating the waste... for instance, why buy glossy plastic coated wrapping paper... use brown paper and decorate it yourself (it can be recycled) or (if you really want to) newspaper. Do you really need to buy all of the veg in plastic bags... why not buy loose? etc... think before buying, then think again when throwing out. A bit of sorting makes a big difference.
Last year we had quite a discussion about having a greener Christmas... why not take a read.
