I watched an interesting segment on the national news a few days ago which talked about people monitoring their carbon usage/creation in everyday life. In then end there was a cost of carbon offset for too much used. Reply to this.

I'm a little curious about this...what are some things that give off carbon so that maybe the rest of us could join in?

THe carbonfootprint calculator is a great place to start. It calculates your carbon production based on your fuel usage, then has recommendations on how to reduce it and goes on to say how you can offset your usage (funding research, planting trees etc).
