I was having one of my panic present hunting sessions when I came across this site.
Everything is organic and fairtrade.... excellent (ticks two major boxes for me)
They've a number of shops through the country and do mail order. This is an extract from their site:
"All profits are used to benefit the people of K.V. Kuppam through our registered charity, the South India Rural Development Trust"
....
Our main fabrics are fine hand-woven organic cotton and a slightly more sturdy organic cotton calico which is woven on small electric powered looms. All our organic cotton is grown from non GM seed in the northern state of Gujarat, and is certified by both SKAL and the Fairtarde Foundation.
Our organic denim is woven and softwashed for us in South India and made up in K.V. Kuppam.
We also produce garments in noil silk, cotton lawn, cotton corduroy and velvet."
I love the look of some of the kids clothes and they aren't over the top in terms of price.
