hello i was wondering how composting should be in my backyard. lately from my compost pile i have been smelling a funky smell lol and i was wondering if the smell is supposed to be there or not. I have put coffe grounds, lettece, fruits, and some of my meat into my recylcing bin where my compost pile and worms are. there is a sourish kind of smell and i was wondering if i should just throw out the pile or is it fermenting or somethng lol

You shouldn't put anything animal related - meat, cat food, anything like that will not decompose in the correct way and is more likely to rot and attract vermin etc, so you should only put vegetable / plant matter onto a compost heap.
