I attempted to contact the forum webmaster through the 'contact' form but it appears not to be working. I would like to know how to change my registration so I DO NOT received notification of new posts. Please advise how I might accomplish this.

Please accept our apologies - we don't meant to send out those emails to people who don't want them. I've remove you from the relevant lists so you won't receive anymore.
As shiningstar said, it's down to those tick boxes next to each article and discussion, but we'll have a rethink and make it easier for everyone to opt-out of the emails as I hate having to work things like that out too!
