OK, in theory they want and are willing to pay for greener, but will they actually do so?
Apparently Dell are moving towards removing some of the worst offenders in the machines from the build, which is great. I think they need to take some responsibility of the mounting levels of e-waste by making the machines more "recycleable" or increasing the life span of them - make them easier for "joe blogs" to upgrade... surely that would help the environment.
Ah.... key issue there - it wont help the manufacturers as people wont need to spend as much.....

E-waste is just terrible--now I feel guilty as I sit here owning both a desktop and a laptop computer! Don't forget about lead and other heavy metals too.
