How do you feel about pets in the house?
I have a cat inside but my partner does not like this at all.
Do you keep pets inside?

Cats can live perfectly happily indoors, apparently. As long as they have a place to do their business and stimulation from toys and such then there's no reason for them to go outside.
I prefer my cats to go outside but when you're in a situation where you can't, it won't cause them any harm.
