Just found about out this today, from a friend:
"Global Action Plan is the practical environmental charity that helps people to make positive changes at home, at work, at school and in the wider community. By working together, we make the small changes that have a big impact on the things that matter.
It's easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale of today's environmental problems and wonder what difference you can make on your own. That's why Global Action Plan have developed a range of programmes, tools and advice to make it a little easier. Whether you're looking for more information about our programmes or tips on how to make more environmentally friendly choices, you'll find it here."
It's an interesting suggestion that a lot of 'green' institutions aren't very beginner friendly, so maybe this is where ecolocal can fit in too? An 'all you wanted to know about sustainable living, but were too afraid to ask'?
