This year's Tree-athlon at Battersea Park takes place on 20th September.

It's a good 5km race to take part in - all off road round the park. There are other fun activities taking place through the day and all runners take a sapling home to plant as well as the money they raise going to planting trees in nominated sites around the region.

One of the nice things about this race is it isn't as big as many of the 5km events, so it has a much more relaxed atmosphere. Take part (walk if you like) and enjoy yourself while raising money for a greener world.
