This looks like a great site full of ideas of what to do with your kids - what to make, activities to do, games both indoors and out. Have a hunt through and let us know if there's anything you think works particularly well.

There's quite a few good kid links on ecolocal now - have a look at Allkids and Kiddley for other ideas!

It's a good idea to have an activities at home for kids. My neighbor is one of the good example. They have a family reunion every month. They always have a ball competition at the backyard. What I like most is the egg hunt in the garden. They also have an apple eating contest. Activities at home not only for fun but develop close family ties.
