URLwell

Unobtrusive computing, part deux.

URLwell is a lovely little application for OS X. In the spirit of doing one thing and doing it well, it saves links that you drag and drop on it. That’s all. But there are plenty of times when that’s exactly what I want to do. Traditionally, I’ve kept those pages open in browser tabs, but too many of those can eat up memory. Being able to drop those onto URLwell for later retrieval fits nicely into my workflow.

URLwell seems to be quite an unknown little application, too. There are only a few reviews online, all of which are complementary, though. I’m not sure why the icons is an ‘@’, though, but it seems that you can also drag and drop email addresses.
