Shoot out on the Plantation

// Game Over!
Last week saw the first Casual Games Conference and, by all accounts, it was roaring success. Colin was active in his attendance and has come back hugely optimistic.
Fuel Games have some great notes and there are a couple of other positive reviews appearing elsewhere:

The downloadable games market is lucrative and growing which means I need to decide whether to go back to Pygame or look into the PopCap framework and the Garage Games Torque engine at some point in the future. More pressingly though, it seems that my crusade to define a new TLA for Massively Casual Online games (MCO!) is gathering pace. There was a lot of discussion about MMORPGs at the conference and clearly, the broader the appeal, the better the hit rate. It shouldn’t be too hard either, just do the opposite of this and you’ll be set.
