I have to say that I wouldn't mind a few one to one sessions of pilates. It's such a complex form of exercise to do well - so many people only take it 20% of the way, but I know, from the odd occassion when I was practising regularly and something just "clicked" about a move that meant I really benefited from it. And I'm fairly aware of my body considering I practised Iyengar yoga for 4 years prior to starting Pilates. One to one instruction should certainly help.
