Personally speaking I think that the name of the shops are appropriate to what they do.
They are a co-op selling organic and fairtrade goods to the local areas. The selection at this one in Gosforth is great to such an extent that when I'm up there (I now live in kent) I have to go in and stock up. They are doing so well up there that rumour has it they have recently moved into larger premises within the shopping centre on Gosforth high street. Good for them

If you're ever in the area, treat yourself to one of their sandwiches - bread is organic, and the selection of fillings is amazing. They'll make up almost whatever you want therre and then, all with produce that they sell in the shop. My mother is rather partial to salmon and olive (so's the cat!) but I prefer houmous and alfalfa sprouts.... yum! Followed by rich chocolate cake of course!

Yes, they have moved and it's about 4 times the size of the old store, so even more space and variety of stock.

It really is a good little shop, the lunch food in there is good but they have plenty of other stuff like tea, rice, baby food, bread, jam and so on.

I think that Out of this World is probably going to be the closest to Sunderland, which is a shame.
If you're in London (long journey, I know), you should pop in to Planet Organic. It gets quite busy in there but it's a good shop to hunt around in.
