Alnwick is beautiful place and this farm sounds like a great place for a family holiday:
"Shipley Hill is a mixed organic farm of 450 acres situated in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland countryside. The cottage is set in an elevated position on a quiet lane leading to the farm. Visitors are very welcome to stroll around the farm. There are many fantastic walking destinations in the surrounding area, as well as miles of unspoiled sandy coastline to explore. You can buy home-grown organic beef, lamb, pork, eggs and a variety of other produce at Rock Midstead organic farm shop, three miles away. Their tea room serves organic coffees, speciality teas, tasty home cooking, a range of organic soft drinks, organic wines and beers, as well has a huge selection of cakes."
