In fact, it is said that 40 percent of the world’s ecosystem is made up of drylands. This is the area that is more susceptible to desertification that other areas. This could affect the people that live in these areas, and yes…believe it or not people actually inhabit these areas! Are you one that lives next to dry land?
I never had that unfortunate experience. I am from a state of the U.S. called Wisconsin. This is one of the states that has the most plentiful water supply in the whole United States. I feel pretty blessed. I think of all the water I drink daily.
It is one incentive not to take all that I have for granted that other people do not have.
