Tom Chance has a nice dceonstruction of this new meme, 'green is the new blue', as suggested by the New Statesman. Sample quote:

"It is true that Greens acknowledge the truth of conservatism, which challenges us to move more slowly, to ask tough questions in the face of radical reform, and to respect and refer to the wisdom of our past."

Well worth a read - I've read some of Tom's blog before and he's a good writer too.
