"There is as much wind power potential (900,000 megawatts) off our coasts as the current capacity of all power plants in the United States combined, according to a new report"
This probably applies equally to the UK, we just need someone to design a wind turbine that appeases all the kind of people who can't appreciate their grace and beauty. Or station them off-shore and out of sights. The turbines, that is, not the whingers ;-)
