"Toyota Motor Co.'s energy-saving hybrid Prius car has surpassed the half-million mark in worldwide sales". It's really encouraging to see just how popular this car is, given that it's most likely the beginning of greener, more sustainable cars.

it's good to see hybrids selling, but I understand that they're not good for highway driving; only city driving. They dont' tell you THAT in the brochures, usually.

another great hybrid is the Honda Civic Hybrid.
I dont think its been selling as well as the Prius but Honda make great cars so its worth a look at.
