Look at that, it's happening. People are starting to ask the green question from local supermarkets right up to big business.

Microsoft has massive reputation problems and Google's motto is 'don't be evil'. It's not much of a leap to see how both of them could use green issues to give themselves the edge over the other. I'm not 100% happy with ethical issues being used in this kind of dubiously non-ethical way, but if it gets the green question into the mainstream, that's got to help.
