Looks like plenty of rubbish is going to be sent to Belvedere for burning after all:
"Despite thousands of letters of objection, hundreds of hours of evidence, dozens of opposition witnesses and weeks of public inquiry hearings, Energy Minister Malcolm Wicks announced consent to Riverside Resource Recovery Ltd (RRRL) to build the 800,000-tonne waste-to-energy plant on a 22-hectare site on the riverfront at Norman Road, Belvedere."
