Eco-Design Day 2006 will be held on Saturday 16th September at Trinity Buoy Wharf (E14), just across the Thames from the Dome. This free event will showcase products and ideas in the field of eco-design. Along with exhibitors’ stands there will be talks, workshops and children’s activities. Curated by innovative young company Fourth Wall Creations, Eco-Design Day is part of the London Design Festival and the event coincides with London Open House Weekend, when guided tours of Trinity Buoy Wharf will be available.

Just doing some Googling, here's Trinity Buoy Wharf, here's a map of the area, plus a bit about a nearby attraction called The Lighhouse, if you plan to make a day of it.
As cara said, it's Open House Weekend too, so there's lots on.

Sounds really interesting and a lot of fun. I'll have to see if I'm home in the UK for then! If so, I'll definitely go.
