I don't have kids but I'd say my younger brother is as close as it gets. During the warm months, we try to attend all sorts of festivals, like holiday festivals and arts and crafts and music, even the Renaissance festival or cultural ones for our heritage (Puerto Rican/German)!
Other times, we might decide to go hiking up a mountain, having picnics, or simply sunning while listening to our favorite cds!

We like to spend lots of time outside. Planting flowers and seeds for a summer garden. We like to go to the family ranch and have BBQs. We take walks and go to the park more.

We're so looking forward to planting! My son has his "farmer hat" all ready to go and we're all talking about what kinds of plants to grow and where. Yesterday we started thinking about making plans for camping and fishing too. I can't wait for consistently nicer weather.

Yes, we also plan on taking the little ones camping this year! Oh yeah and how can I forget the playing in the sprinklers when its hot out!

Ah, but the sprinklers seem sooo far away this time of year! Though in that vein I can't wait to start using the grill again. Veggie kabobs here we come!

Skateboarding down the street, kids & their friends in tow, while the neighbors look on in horror! :)

Now that I have a yard (a front AND a back!) I have to come up with more activities. I wanna soak up some sun, and have a few yard sales for sure!
