My first Black Crowes gig. I got the album for Christmas and found my new favourite band. Once they were on tour I booked tickets but I must have got the last two and my friend and I were way, way at the back of the seated area.

This tour was the making of the Black Crowes, they gave up the 4 minute pop rock songs and demoed longer and more involved songs as they toured. We were treated to an early version of Thorn In My Pride but I had no idea what that signalled in terms of their second album. This is one gig I'd take a time machine back to see what else I missed.
